1. Who can use this
You must be 13 or older. If you are 18 or older, by creating an account you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you are 13 to 17, a parent or guardian must approve your account before you can use it; when they approve, they agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy for you. Please give your real birth month and year when you sign up.
1a. Students under 18
- Your account stays locked until your parent approves it from the email we send them.
- Your parent can see a progress summary (days practiced, time, topics, a readiness estimate and practice exam scores) and picks which emails they get about it. They never see your answers, tutor chats or uploaded work.
- Your parent pays for any course: pressing Buy emails them a payment link, and they get the receipt.
- The AI tutor has stricter rules for you: schoolwork only.
- When you turn 18, you decide what your parent gets, and you can end the parent link in Settings.
- You or your parent can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing the contact address above.
2. What this is
Exam Coach is an independent study tool for students taking Texas A&M engineering courses such as CHEM 107, CHEM 119, CHEM 120, MATH 140, MATH 142, MATH 150, MATH 151, MATH 152, MATH 251, MATH 308, PHYS 206 and PHYS 207. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Texas A&M University or any of its departments or instructors. References to a university or course are descriptive only.
3. No guarantee of results
We can't promise any particular grade or exam outcome. Your results depend on your own effort and your course.
4. Academic integrity (Aggie Honor Code)
Use this tool only for practice. Do not use it for graded work, including WebAssign, quizzes, take-home exams, or any assignment where outside help is not allowed. You are responsible for following your course's rules and the Aggie Honor Code. The tutor is built to decline help with graded work.
5. Acceptable use
- Don't share your account, or scrape, copy, or resell the content.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, or bypass the service or its limits.
- Don't try to make the AI tutor ignore its rules.
- Don't upload unlawful content or other people's private information in problem reports.
6. AI may be wrong
The AI tutor can make mistakes. Check important results against your textbook and instructor. Use the Flag a problem button to report errors. See How the AI tutor works.
7. Our content
Practice problems and explanations are original material created for this service; we do not provide past exams, answer keys, or homework solutions. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own study.
8. Payments and refunds
A course is sold per semester: $99 for one course, and $49 for each additional course in the same semester. Access lasts until the end of that semester; nothing renews or charges you again. Prices during a pilot semester may be lower and are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Next semester: near the end of a semester you can buy next semester's courses ahead of time. Access starts when that semester starts. Bundle: if you pick 2 or more courses for a semester and have not paid for one yet, you can get them all for $149 when that is cheaper than buying them one by one. Courses added to the site later in that semester are not included.
Exam pass: $29 gives you one course until the end of the day after its next exam (or for 21 days if that exam's date isn't set yet). The page shows which exam it covers before you pay. If you later buy the semester pass for that course in the same semester, what you paid for exam passes is taken off its price. When an exam pass ends, you lose access to that course until you buy another pass or the semester pass.
Refunds: Full refund if you ask within 7 days of paying. A seat bought ahead for next semester: full refund until 7 days after that semester starts. After that, no refunds, except that we refund the unused part of the semester if we have to shut the service down. Access ends when the semester ends. Several courses bought together (or the bundle) are one payment: a refund of it ends all of its courses. An exam pass can be refunded within the same 7 days, but not once the exam it covers has taken place. To ask, email the contact address above.
Scholarships: we offer one free seat for every 10 paid seats each semester (at least one). Ask on the Courses page; a student with one scholarship course pays the additional-course price for a second course.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using the service or ask us to delete your account at any time (for a student under 18, their parent can ask too). We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to [LIABILITY CAP]. [ATTORNEY TO REVIEW]
11. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE, e.g. Texas]. We may update them and will change the effective date when we do.
